Government of Maharashtra conducted a Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET 2011) for admission to Health Science, Engineering Pharmacy Courses conducted on Thursday,6th May,2011.

The result of MHT-CET 2011 is being declared on Monday, 14th June, 2011 at 10.00 a.m.
The mark sheets of the aforesaid examination shall be available to the candidates at the Jr.Colleges. The result of this examination shall be displayed at the website of this Directorate "www.dmer.org".

The said examination could be successfully conducted with due cooperation from the Revenue, Education, Finance & Home departments of Government of Maharashtra.

The Common Entrance Examination 2011 was conducted at the district head quarters in Maharashtra, at 740 centres. Total of 282096 candidates appeared for this examination.Out of these 176632 candidates appeared for Health Science Courses, among them 99423 (56.29%) were boys and 77209 (43.71%) were girls.
As per the region the number of candidates appeared and qualified for Medical and Dental  courses are as under.

The selection process for admission to Health Science Courses shall be conducted by filling "Preference Form" at following 4 centres i.e. Grant Medical College, Mumbai, B.J. Medical College, Pune, Govt. Medical College, Nagpur & Govt. Medical College, Aurangabad. The notification to this effect shall be issued subsequently at the website of the Directorate as well as in newspapers. For selection to Engineering and Pharmacy courses Press Note Result 14.6.2011 CET 10 (Eng) Director, Technical Education, Mumbai is the Competent Authority. The Registrar, Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur, is the Competent Authority for selection to veterinary colleges. The respective authorities will notify the details of selection process is due course of time. The Competent Authority, Medical Education & Research, Mumbai thanks Revenue, Education, Finance & Home department for their kind cooperation during successful conduct of MHT-CET 2011. Similarly students and their parents deserve thanks for the cooperation they have extended.
