Devi Ahilya University, Indore (DAVV Indore) was set up in 1964 in Madhya Pradesh as Devi Ahilya University/Indore University. In the year 1988, the university was given a new name as Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. The jurisdiction of the university spans over seven districts. The university has its offices on Rabindranath Tagore Marg. Indore. The university regulates all schools within 2 campuses. Many other colleges are affiliated to the University of Indore. 153 affiliated colleges to the University are imparting education at UG and PG levels.
