Facilities The Institute provides library and research facilities, health centers offering free medical treatment to student and teachers of the colleges and university, and also physical education and games facilities for physical and cultural education.

About BRABU:
Formerly known as the Bihar University, BU, a public university is located in the district of Muzaffarpur in north Bihar. Established in 1960, the University was renamed as B.R Ambedkar Bihar University in the year 1992, and has 37 colleges affiliated under it. Several correspondence education courses are offered by the Institute that also conducts seminars, workshops and symposia. BRABU is one of the most premier institutions of learning and teaching in the state of Bihar. The university is fully recognized by the Grants Commission with effect from its establishment, and is also funded by the same. BRABU is an active member of the Association of Indian Universities.
